I have worked with Skill360 Australia for the past 8 years and over these years I have had a great run – training and assessing school cleaners throughout the state of Queensland.  This journey has taken me far and wide in Qld and into remote communities such as Hopevale, Kowanyama and the Torres Strait etc.  I hold some very fond memories of the hardworking folk I have met along life’s way.

Deanne Murphy

Hi my name is Deanne and I am married and a mother of two young children.  I have been employed by Skill360 Australia since November 1989.  I commenced a legal office traineeship with a Solicitors office when I left school in 1989.  I was unable to complete my traineeship with the Solicitors office and found myself unemployed.  Skill360 Australia (formerly Cairns Region Group Apprentices Limited) helped me out by offering me employment in their office to complete my traineeship.

Once I completed my traineeship I was offered full time employment.

I have held various roles within Skill360 Australia.  In order for me to fulfil the requirements of the various roles, I have needed to complete training courses.  Skill360 Australia has had no hesitation in allowing me to attend training courses to enhance my job knowledge.

The various roles I have held range from receptionist, administration officer, quality controller, employment coordinator, finance and payroll.  I am a qualified Workplace Health and Safety Officer and have just recently completed a Certificate III in Financial Services.

I am currently working in the Finance/Payroll department and loving it.  Skill360 Australia is a very flexible, family friendly company to work for.  I have gone from being a trainee, a full time employee and now a part time employee.  Skill360 Australia has been extremely flexible in allowing me to work part time.  Part time work has given me the flexibility to care and raise my young family as well as helping me find a balance with family, work and life in general.

Skill360 Australia provides staff with access to a Fit for Life program to keep us all active and as healthy as they possibly can.  Uniforms are also fully provided.  You could not ask for anything more.  The company is more than willing to assist staff as best as they can with our busy life.  Skill360 Australia is a great employer to work for and could not see myself working anywhere else.
