Matthew Little
Matt is an experienced company director with specific expertise in collaborative networks and membership-based boards.
Matt’s professional career spans over 24 years within the Employment Services and Disability sectors, being recognised as a leading strategic executive. Established on a history of high achievement and contribution to the industry, Matt’s focus has been founded on delivering business growth and exceptional services to consumers, service partners and funders.
Matt was first appointed to the Job Futures Board in 2005 as a member elected director, before being elected to the Board of the National Employment Services Australia (NESA) in 2013 and appointed Board Chair in November 2019. This experience includes various committees including Contract Performance, Audit and Risk, Succession and Remuneration, Growth and Digital transformation.
Matt brings a demonstrated expertise in strategic thinking, collaborative business models, financial acumen, governance and risk frameworks, stakeholder management, effective member relations, contract and performance frameworks and new business and growth assessment. Matt completed his Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2019.
Melanie Woodward
Melanie is an experienced Board Director, Chief Financial Officer, and Board Committee Chair.
Spanning a 28-year career, Melanie has held leadership and non-executive director roles across the building and construction, financial services, consulting, charity, and association industries. Melanie’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), a Graduate Diploma in Corporate Governance, CPA Program, and she is a Graduate of the AICD Company Directors Course.
Melanie is a Fellow Member of the Governance Institute of Australia, A Fellow Member of CPA Australia, and a Graduate Member of the AICD. Melanie is a Non-Executive Director of Workways Australia Limited, Deputy Chair of Riding for the Disabled Association Australia as well as being CFO for Master Electricians Australia.
She brings with her a passion for finance, governance, and risk management along with a genuine interest in supporting diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity.
Margaret-Ann Goy
Margaret-Ann is deeply committed to ensuring that all people have equal access to quality education, training and employment opportunities. With a background in education and retail franchising, she prioritises customer-centred learning and engagement.
A commercially savvy executive with over 20 years of experience, Margaret-Ann excels in managing teams and fostering a blend of commercial success, customer satisfaction, and stakeholder relationships. Her strength lies in swiftly grasping business strategies and driving impactful change. She promotes individual accountability while leading with clear communication and effective project management.
Margaret-Ann holds a Bachelor in Commerce (Human Resources and Marketing), is a Certified Advisory Board Chair, and is a member of the Aged Care Advisory Group.
Paul Miles
Paul Miles, Managing Director of BUSY At Work, has been with BUSY since January 2007, initially as Deputy CEO and then appointed as CEO in late July 2012.
Paul has a degree in Law from Cardiff University, Wales, however retrained as an accountant within the energy industry and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
In between leaving the energy industry and joining BUSY, Paul worked within the financial services sector for major banking and insurance organisations in both Australia and the UK.
Leonie Carlile
Leonie brings to the team a background of senior management experience in both Human Resources and broader Business Management.
Commencing her career as an Officer in the Australian Army, Leonie has worked across a range of sectors, including Manufacturing, Government, Resources and Community Services.
Leonie holds a BA (Economics & Politics), MBA (Human Resources) and Post Graduate qualifications in Accounting.
