The awards recognise the efforts of apprentices, trainees, VTEC participants and the contributions of the Host employers

Nominations open until 2 September 2018

Apprentice of the Year Award

This category is open to individuals who were employed by Skill360 as an apprentice in 2018.

What does this mean? This means Skill360 Australia provided you with mentoring support, a dedicated Employment Coordinator and Skill360 was your legal employer for 2018.

 

Trainee of the Year Award

This category is open to individuals who were employed by Skill360 as a trainee in 2018.

What does this mean? This means Skill360 Australia provide you with mentoring, support and a dedicated Employment Coordinator and Skill360 was your legal employer for 2018.

 

Training Excellence for the Year Award

This category is open to individuals who undertook their training with Skill360, in 2018. What does this mean? If you trained with us in Carpentry, Cabinet Making, Commercial Cookery, Business or Business Administration you can nominate for this award. This category is not open to employees of Skill360, including GTO apprentices and trainees.

 

VTEC Award

This category is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders who have been, or are currently engaged in the Skill360 Indigenous Employment Programs in 2018. What does this mean? If you have received support from one of our indigenous mentors you may be eligible for this award!

 

Host Employer of the Year

Open to all Host Employers of Skill360 Australia who have hosted at least one Skill360 Australia apprentice or trainee for 2018. The recipients will have demonstrate exceptional contributions to training and development, workplace diversity and the community. This category is divided into large or small employers based on the number of employees.

 

Dale Kennedy Award

This category is open for all Electrotechnology apprentices who nominate for Apprentice of the Year. This award aims to highlight the Apprentice who has shown a commitment to being safe and demonstrated excellence in the workplace and in their training. The Winner will be someone who shows initiative, motivation and a dedication to the electrical trade.
