CSQ funding for eligible students
Grow your career to Builder, Supervisor or Site Manager!
If you’re a qualified tradesperson or an apprentice who has completed at least 50% of your trade qualification, this qualification will step you up to the next level.
Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) funding is available for eligible students, up to a maximum of $5,670, with the remaining fee of $330 payable by the student.

Looking to become a trade contractor or gain your nominee supervisor licence in Queensland? You must complete an approved managerial qualification and this course approved by QBCC as meeting this requirement
Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) funding of $360 is available to eligible students with the remaining fee of $40 payable by the student.
6-hour course
Cairns – every 3rd Monday of the month
Shailer Park – every 1st Tuesday of the month
For workers including those in the electrical trade who need to have CPR and LVR certification.
This nationally recognised course provides participants with the necessary skills to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation in accordance with the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines, as well as immediate emergency response in the event of a low voltage electric shock.
Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) funding of $69 is available for eligible students, towards the LVR component of this course. Total cost for eligible participants for full course is $40. All other participants cost is $80.

Cairns – every fortnight on a Friday
Undertake training to work safe, and keep others safe, in a construction worksite environment.
Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) funding of $120 is available for eligible students with the total fee of $10 payable by the student. For all other students the cost is $80.

Suitable for anyone whose work requires them to work in confined spaces, this course will teach you how to plan and prepare for entry of confined spaces; enter and work in confined spaces; and exit and clean up confined spaces and cleaning up.
Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) funding of $300 is available for eligible students and cost for eligible CSQ students is $10. Non-eligible participants fee cost is $300.
