What are the benefits of this course?
This qualification provides a trade outcome in Cabinet Making, covering work in residential and commercial applications. Installation skills may be applied to new or renovation work. You will learn the basic foundations and content to develop the skills and knowledge used to manufacture and fit furniture typically in a kitchen or bathroom. You will also learn about safe work practices and about the context of the building industry.

Are there any entry requirements?
This qualification is delivered under the Australian Apprenticeship Program. Students must be employed in an apprenticeship to undertake this training program.
Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to be supplied by each apprentice (Protective footwear, long sleeve shirt, safety glasses and hearing protection) as well as a calculator, pen and paper.

What are the course fees?
This qualification is delivered under the Australian Apprenticeship Program. Students must be employed in an apprenticeship to undertake this training program. Training is funded through the Department of Education, Training and Employment’s User Choice Policy. Student contribution fees will apply. The fees listed below will change if elective units chosen are outside of the standard course offer. Eligibility criteria applies for concession rate.
