Construction Safety White Card (CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry).
This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required to undertake Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training within the construction industry. CSQ funding amount is $120 and cost for CSQ eligible participants is $10 (cost for non-eligible is $80). Delivered in Cairns and Brisbane. Find out More
CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction
Grow your career to builder, supervisor or site manager! Successful completion of this qualification will allow you to apply for a Builder – Low Rise licence and set you up to successfully manage a residential building business. CSQ funding amount is up to a maximum of $5,670 with eligible CSQ participants total only $330 (normal cost $6,000). Find out more
UETTDRRF004 – Perform Rescue From a Live Low Voltage Panel
This nationally recognised course provides participants with the necessary skills to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in accordance with the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines, as well as immediate emergency response in the event of a low voltage electric shock. NB: The LVR component is CSQ-funded. CSQ funding amount is $69 and cost for CSQ eligible participants is $40. Non-eligible participant cost for the full course is $80.
This course is suitable for all workers who require initial CPR/LVR certification or annual CPR/LVR refresher training. Find out More
RIIWHS204E – Work Safely at Heights RIIWHS204E
Suitable for anyone whose role requires them to work at heights, the 1day accredited course provides everything you need to comply with current occupational health and safety legislation and work confidently at heights. RIIWHS202E – Enter and Work in Confined Spaces RIIWHS202E
Also a 1 day course, this accredited course will teach you how to plan and prepare for entry of confined spaces; entry and working in confined spaces; exiting confined spaces and cleaning up. CSQ funding amount is $300. Cost is $10 for CSQ-eligible funded students or $300 for non-eligible participants. Find out More (PDF).
CSQ’s Apprentice Advance loading gives Queensland’s construction apprentices and trainees a valuable edge in the jobs market with free additional training to boost their skills and career prospects.
Through the program, CSQ fully covers the training costs of priority short courses and higher level skills training for construction apprentices and trainees.
The Apprentice Advance loading is available to any Queenslander currently in an eligible construction apprenticeship or traineeship, or for the first year following completion of an eligible apprenticeship/
