Transition to Work

The Transition to Work program is an Australian Government initiative that provides youth employment services and support for young people to help them gain employment or further education.

Are you a young job seeker looking for work?

If you are a young person (aged 15-21) who has left school early or having difficulty entering employment after leaving school, we can help.

We have connections

Our Transition to Work consultants are experienced and passionate about supporting young people who may be struggling after leaving school. We have strong links with schools, employers and community services in our local community.

Support for your success

We take a holistic approach and work closely with you to address any barriers that are holding you back. We can also connect you to further support services if needed.

Career guidance

We provide assistance with your job search and developing your practical skills to get a job. This may include connecting you with education, training courses or work experience placements.

Finding you work

We have strong connections with local employers who are also passionate about giving a young person a start. We work closely with you to find work opportunities. Once you find work we remain in regular contact to support your success.

Who is eligible

To participate in Transition to Work you must be aged 15-21, have the right to work in Australia, have left school before completing Year 12 or a Certificate III level qualification and unemployed for the past 6 months.
