Mental Health Support Resources

Mental Health illnesses commonly include Anxiety, Depression, Stress and Substance Addiction. This time of the year can be an incredibly stressful and difficult time for people due to factors such as:

Are you in a long distance relationship or recently broken up with your partner?

Increased pressures on young people with social media to show they have the ‘perfect’ memories can often cause unnecessary self-doubt, sadness or anxiety.

Christmas can often elevate tensions between friends and family that were already present and can lead to an increase in people’s stress levels.

Are you the 1 in 10 people aged between 25 and 34 that have no one to spend with Christmas with? Will this be your first Christmas without your loved ones around you?

Whilst working on an apprenticeship wage can attribute to increased anxiety and stress levels whilst trying to meet peoples expectations for Christmas celebrations.

These are all very common problems and issues that many young Australians are exposed to, so if you are experiencing any of these, you are not alone and there is support and help available.

As a valued Skill360 employee we would like to remind you that you we have many services which are available to help you through these difficult times. They can be contacted as follows:
