What you’ll learn

This qualification will show employers you are ready for the next step and builds on your foundation skills and knowledge to gain an apprenticeship in any construction trade.

This course covers essential work health and safety requirements and teaches you basic skills in the use of construction tools and materials, reading and interpreting plans, making measurements and calculations and communicating in the workplace. This hands-on qualification is built around a basic construction project that integrates these skills just like in the workplace.
